We believe that Islam deserves the very best. Thus, no expense has been spared in bringing you the very best speakers, performers, artists and more specifically a breath taking venue located in an ideal and easy to access location.

We confidently believe that the region has never seen an event to the high standards that Inshallah UMC 2012 will be. In fact, so much effort is being exhausted in delivering UMC 2012, a FREE, public event, that the organisers are sceptical if it could ever be repeated!


Conference Hall / Auditorium

The main hall is arguably one of the best conference halls situated in Birmingham.

There are no pillars to obscure the audiences view of the stage, ample seating/walking space (yes – that’s right no one stepping on your toes to get by or breathing down your neck from the narrow rows behind), a massive stage allowing all the audience to see the speakers and artists! This is accompanied with 4 gigantic drop-down projection screens from the ceiling ensuring that wherever you are seated you can have a perfect view of the stage and screens. Not to mention that the venue is fully air-conditioned and heated for your comfort.

Transport / Parking

As Muslims who are concerned about our environment we would encourage our delegates if safe, possible and not extremely inconvenient to use public transport. Let’s try and do our bit to reduce car pollution.

For those wishing to attend by car the venue does have its own spacious on site secure car park that will be charged at a nominal subsidised fee of £2 per car/van for the “entire day” for those who arrive prior to 1:30pm. For those who arrive after 1:30pm the car parking fee will be £3 for the entire day. Hopefully that should encourage people to arrive on time for the event! there will be limited fee on street car parking on the side roads near the venue for those who do not wish to use the comfort of the venue carpark.

Toilets and washing facilities

Fed up of limited and unclean toilets at Islamic events and centres? Well UMC 2012 has ample segregated toilet / washing facilities for men and women. Not only are they comfortable, newly built and fully working but UMC have also allocated staff to ensure the facilities are kept clean throughout the day. After all purity is half of faith!


Access to all areas

There is level access to all areas as the building is currently on a single storey.
