Fundraising For The Needy
By acting locally one can somewhat help elevate the suffering globally.
The organisers of UMC have carefully selected a recognised, well trusted and British based Islamic Charity, Interpal, that will be collecting zakah and other donations on the day.
The best part of you providing the donations is that the charity Interpal guarantees that 100% of donations will go to the cause – no admin expenses will be deducted.
Interpal works to elevate the suffering of Palestinians. It has been tirelessly doing so with scholarly support for a number of years.
Palestine is a sacred land and it is where Islam’s third holiest site, Majsid Al Aqsa exists. Please help the cause by bringing your donations, cards and cheque books along.
Scholars will be at hand in the “Q&A Booths” to assist individuals calculate their zakah and other donations. Receipts will be provided and there are opportunities to support Palestinian orphans
By acting locally we can and are making changes globally. So let us cast aside any differences we have between us as united together we can do it!
And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude Allah's favour on you; for you were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, you became brethren; and you were on the brink of the pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus doth Allah make His Signs clear to you: That you may be guided.
Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong: They are the ones to attain felicity.
