Dr Zahid Pervez (UK)
Dr Zahid Parvez is a Senior Lecturer in Business Information Management at the University of Wolverhampton. He has an BSc Hons in Chemical Engineering , MSc Information Technology from the University of Aston and an MBA from the University of Aston. His PhD is from University of Birmingham and explores the impact of e-democracy on local government.
His is currently working on the relationship between company governance and e-democracy. Before returning to the field of higher education he had experience as a programmer and software engineer.
Dr. Zahid Parvez is also the Secretary General for UKIM and a member of the shura council for UKIM. He has spoken extensively at universities, masjids and conveferences throughout UK and has authored a number of books and papers including the Lack of Business Responsibility: An Islamic perspective, An Islamic perspective on the lack of social responsibility in business organisations, Building a society: An Islamic Approach to Social Change and many others.
