A new feature that has been added to this year’s “UMC Experience” is the “Q&A Booths.” For many delegates attending the UMC it is their only channel to access English speaking scholars or Muslim specialists in their field. Many delegates have a range of questions they would like answering pertaining to Islam, halal, haram and family issues. Many others require general guidance be in that a direction of what to do in life or how to proceed with issues such as marriage.

The organisers of the “UMC Experience” carefully considered how to facilitate for this need. Having an open Q&A session from stage was not a practical option. It would be hard to fit into the busy schedule, not everyone’s questions could be answered, some answers require clarification/interaction with the questioner, questions may be personal and not appropriate to ask/answer in front of thousands of other delegates and so forth.

The solution brought forward is to set up “Q&A Booths” where those who have questions can ask the questions they need, interact with the scholar and be able to speak without having been rushed or having thousands of others looking at them.

So if there is any questions you need answering or guidance you require then keep an eye out for the “Q&A Booths” at the UMC Experience.

By acting locally we can and are making changes globally. So let us cast aside any differences we have between us as united together we can do it!

And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude Allah's favour on you; for you were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, you became brethren; and you were on the brink of the pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus doth Allah make His Signs clear to you: That you may be guided.

Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong: They are the ones to attain felicity.

(Quran 3:103-104)
